Description
This is the Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. Install Intel Chipset SW before installing this component.

Change Points

  1. Fixed: SATA device hot plug events may not be reliably detected on ports with SATA link power management (LPM) enabled on systems using ICH9 or ICH10.

Driver Install Instructions

  1. Save the file to the Windows Desktop.
  2. Save all work in progress and close all open applications.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
  4. Click Start when the TOSHIBA Archive Extractor is displayed.
  5. Click Continue if a User Account Control window is displayed.
  6. Click Next, Yes, then Next again when the Intel Installation Framework window is displayed
  7. When setup completes click Next.
  8. Select Yes, I want to restart this computer now to restart the system then click Finish.

Driver Version Verification

  1. Click Start, All programs, Intel Matrix Storage Manager, then Intel Matrix Storage Console.
  2. Click Continue if a User Account Control window is displayed.
  3. Click Help then select About.
  4. Verify that version 8.9.0.1023 is displayed at the bottom-left corner of the About Window.
