
Computer doesn't start with an HP Officejet 6310 printer / Toshiba Express Port Replicator

The computer models listed above may not start up correctly when docked to an Express Port Replicator (PA3508U-1PRP), with an HP Officejet 6310 printer connected to the port replicator's USB port, and turned on.
The computer may not complete its power-on self test (POST), or it may lock up while displaying the Toshiba logo or a blinking cursor, or the computer may restart.
- Resolution
To correct this problem, update the computer's BIOS, by clicking the appropriate link for your computer model from the list below:
Portege M700: Download and install BIOS version 1.80.
Portege M750: Download and install BIOS version 1.80.
These BIOS versions are the newest as of May 2009. Newer BIOS versions may be available from the Toshiba Support website, at support.toshiba.com.
