
Optimizing Sound Recording on Toshiba PDAs

- Audio files recorded with Toshiba PDA have poor sound quality during playback.
- Resolution
Select a higher voice recording format. The default voice recording formats (see comments below) are optimized for space not quality. To change the voice recording format perform the following steps:
- Tap Start, Notes.
- Tap the Tools menu and tap Options...
- Tap the Global Input Options link toward the bottom of the page.
- Tap the Options tab.
- Tap the upside down triangle located at the end of the current Voice recording format.
- Tap to highlight and select the desired Voice recording format.
- Click OK to close the Settings Input window.
- Click OK to close the Notes Options window.
COMMENTS:
The default voice recording format is:
GSM 6.10, 8,000Hz, Mono (2 KB/s) for the e310 and e570
PCM, 8,000Hz, 8 Bit, Mono (8 KB/s) is e740- Export Control and EULA
