Description
This is a digitizer driver update package for Touch version Portege M700 models.

Change Points

  1. Fixed: If the system is booted while docked and lid is closed while booting, the digitizer will not respond to touch commands when the lid is opened. The digitizer may respond to stylus input.
  2. The touch panel can now be disabled in Windows XP.
  3. The specification was changed to make the multi-user setting possible. (It allows the calibration setting value for each user to be saved.)

Installation Instructions

  1. Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop
  2. Before starting the installation:
    1. Uninstall the old driver.
    2. Restart the computer.
  3. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
    1. If a User Account Control message is displayed, click Continue.
    2. Follow the displayed instructions to complete the installation.
    3. Restart the computer.

To confirm the version of the Wacom Touch Panel driver:

  1. From Device Manager, open “Human Interface Devices”.
  2. Double-click “Wacom Penabled Dual Touch”.
  3. Select Driver
  4. The version should be 2.8.0.5.
