Issue

The HDMI connection between the computer and a monitor (or a TV) may be lost after Windows is restarted, or the computer is shut down and turned on again.

Resolution

To temporarily work around this problem, disconnect the HDMI cable from the computer, and then re-connect it.

To correct this problem, update the computer's BIOS to version 1.40, or newer.
