The information in this Support Bulletin is for IT personnel who require details about the commands for silent installation of Toshiba BIOS — without a forced reboot — for the laptop models listed above.
- Download and extract the BIOSPackage from the Toshiba Support Website — for example: p003cv320.exe (Portege M400).
- Use one of the following three commands:
BIOSPACK.exe /auto c:\toshbios.auto — for auto-installation without a reboot, with display of installation progress
BIOSPACK.exe /auto c:\toshbios.sms — for auto-installation without a reboot, without display of installation progress
BIOSPACK.exe /auto c:\toshbios.fd(BIOSPack.exe = the BIOS filename) /auto temp directory.type of installation

- Download and extract the BIOSPackage from the Toshiba Support Website — for example: p003cv320.exe (Portege M400).
