  • Volume - Volume adjustment selections are saved for each input source.

Image

  • Keystone - Square the image as the angle of the projection is changed. This option is only available when using a computer input source (M1-DA Connection), does not change Video or S-Video (analog) signals. Digital Keystone Correction automatically corrects image data to maintain image integrity / quality.
  • Overscan - Crops all edges of the image to remove noise generated by edges of the source signal. This option only applies if the source is Video or S-Video (analog signal).
  • Auto Image - The projector automatically adjust tracking, signal synchronization, vertical and horizontal position for most computers (not analog video sources). To set these features manually, set Auto Image to "off". To have these features automatically and digitally corrected, set Auto Image to "on".
  • Resize - For Computer Sources, resize automatically resizes the image by scaling it up or down, only if the image is not in the projector's native resolution. The projector automatically resizes the image to match the computer screen. Turning this features "off" may make the image appear cropped or small. For Video Sources (Video / S-Video) choose from four settings.
    • Standard - Resizes the image to fit standard 4x3 aspect ratio.
    • Widescreen Letterbox - Preserves the 16x9 aspect ratio of the theater version.
    • Enhanced Widescreen - Preserves the 16x9 aspects ration of the Widescreen version. It is designed to be used with content that is enhanced for Widescreen and yields more detail.
    • Native - Reduces the Standard size to match the height of Enhanced Widescreen.
  • Manual Sync - The projector automatically adjusts synchronization. However, if a particular input appears fuzzy or streaked, turn off the Auto Image, select Manual Sync and adjust the image to remove streaks.
  • Manual Tracking - The projector automatically adjusts tracking to match the video signal. However, if the image appears evenly spaced, fuzzy, vertical lines, turn off the Auto Image and adjust the Manual Tracking.
  • Horizontal Position - Turn off Auto Image to manually set the horizontal position of the image.
  • Vertical Position - Turn off Auto Image to manually set the vertical position of the image.

Controls

  • Video Standard - The projector automatically scans for the correct video standard from the input signal. (NTSC, NTSC4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL-60, or SECAM).
  • Standby Time - This option lets you select how long the lamp stays on and the black screen displayed before automatically turning off (saves power and lamp life). Select from Instant, 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or 1, 2 hours.
  • Rear Projection - Reverses the projected image so it can be displayed from behind on a translucent screen. Great feature if you can project from behind the screen and hide the projector from the audience.
  • Ceiling Projection - (on available models) Inverts the projected image so the projector can be mounted upside-down to a ceiling mount. The menu buttons can be accessed from below, the digital keystone correction is still accurate on computer input, and the accessible projector is "out-of harms-way".
  • Default Source - Toggle between Computer Analog, Computer Digital, and Video sources.
  • Auto Source Detect - Projector automatically searches for default input source.
  • Plug and Play - Most new computers automatically recognize the projector, then set the monitor resolution and refresh rate accordingly. Set this option to "off" for older computers that do not support this feature.
  • Display Messages - Yes, you have the option of turning off annoying messages, or turning them on so you know what the projector is thinking when the status changes.
  • Display Startup Screen - Toggle between the default startup, blue, or black screen.

General Notes

Menu Options may vary based on model.

Some options are only applicable based on the type of source / input. For example, some menu options apply to computer input, and other options may only be available to adjust video input signals.

The projector is designed to utilize automatic detection, synchronization and corrections to create the best possible image quickly and easily. In some cases it may be advantageous to Turn Off the automatic modes in the menu to manually control and adjust the settings for a specific computer or video signal. In most cases it is recommended to use the automatic settings.
