Description
This is the Intel PROSet utility for the Wireless LAN controller. This utility controls the driver for the Wireless LAN Controller.

Change Points

Changes were made to correct the following:
  1. Leaving a machine in an idle state with the following settings after start-up may result in a dropped wireless LAN connection after 10 to 15 minutes.
    • The computer is running on battery power.
    • The Cooling Method in TOSHIBA Power Saver is set to "Battery Optimized".
    • The PCIe Power Save feature in TOSHIBA Power Saver is set to "Enable".
    • The "Power Management" Property Value is set to "Lowest" in the Advanced tab of Intel(R) Wireless WiFi driver properties.

Installation Instructions

  1. Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop.
  2. Start the install process by double-clicking the file downloaded to the Windows Desktop.

Silent Installation Instructions

  1. Run "PSInst.exe /ql" from the directory the files were extracted to.
