When the Sony game EverQuest II Echoes of Faydwer (or the trial version Play the Fae) is launched, the game may not start. Instead, the following "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Death) error message may be displayed:DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL;*** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000000; 0x00000002; 0x00000001; 0xB8685B9A);

- Resolution
Follow these steps to install a newer version of the Conexant audio driver.1. Click the following link to download Conexant Audio Driver for Windows XP Version 3.44.0.0 (v3.44.0.0; 11-06-2007; 1.16M). Save the file to the Windows Desktop.
You may also search for a newer version of this audio driver on Toshiba's Service and Support site, at support.toshiba.com.

2. Double-click the file driver_audio_conexant_os2007336a.exe on the Windows Desktop to start the driver installation.
3. Restart the computer.
EverQuest II Echoes of Faydwer should now run correctly.
