 WXGA 1280 X 800(Wide Extended Graphics Array)
 SXGA 1280 X 1024(Super Extended Graphics Array)
 WXGA+ 1440 X 900(Wide Extended Graphics Array Plus)
 SXGA+ 1400 X 1050(Super Extended Graphics Array Plus)
 WSXGA+ 1680 X 1050(Wide Super Extended Graphics Array Plus)

If the display resolution is changed to a setting below the display's 'native' resolution (in the table above), the display may appear grainy and/or distorted. This is a natural result of the mis-match of resolutions.

If applications, games, image files, etc. require lower display resolutions, it's best to use a computer with a lower-resolution LCD display, or to use an external CRT-based monitor.
