Issue
Custom CBCD Installation does not work with external CDROM devices other than Port Noteworthy and Traveler PCMCIA.
Procedure
  1. When using the "Toshiba Configuration Builder" option on the CBCD menu to create a custom installation, a CBCD Boot diskette will be made.
  2. With external PCMCIA CDROM connected, boot off CBCD Boot diskette to start custom installation. The following CDROM selection menu appears:
  1. Note24, Toshiba 24x cd-rom drive / USB cd-rom drive
  2. CardPort, CNF CardPort 20x cd-rom drive
  3. Noteworthy, Port Noteworthy cd-rom drive
  4. Freecom, Freecom CD-rom drive
  5. Novac, Novac cd-rom drive
  6. Traveler PCMCIA CD-ROM
  7. Exit, No CD-ROM

Only external CDROM options 3 and 6 work with the CBCD.
Options 1,2,4, and 5 CDROM devices are for different regions such as Japan, Germany.
