Unable to detect Xircom RBE-100 in DOS on the Satellite 1800

Issue: The Satellite 1800 does not recognize the Xircom RealPort RBE-100 card in DOS mode. When booting from a DOS boot disk with network support, the Xircom RealPort RBE-100 card is not detected. This only occurs on units with the internal WiFi card installed.
Procedure: This is a technical restriction in the DOS environment.

COMMENTS:
Satellite 1800s without the optional WiFi cards do not have this issue. If you are having the same issue with other PCMCIA NIC cards in DOS mode, use the top slot (slot 1). This is not an option with the Xircom RealPort RBE-100 since this card takes up both slots and can only be inserted into the bottom slot.
