Tecra M5: No prompt for BIOS password (BIOS versions 2.01 and 2.03)

Issue

When the computer is turned on, and the Esc key is pressed to enter BIOS Setup, the password= prompt does not appear -- even though a BIOS password has been previously created. Pressing the F1 key will cause the BIOS Setup screen to appear, even though no password has been entered.

This happens with only BIOS versions 2.01 and 2.03, for Windows Vista.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in BIOS version 3.20 and higher.
