- Information
- You might want to install BackOffice
Server 2000 on a computer that is running Windows 2000 Advanced
Server to take advantage of the unique features of Windows 2000
AdvancedServer. Although you can install BackOffice Server 2000
on a computer that is running Windows 2000 Advanced Server, it
should be noted that it is a violation of the BackOffice Server
2000 End-User License Agreement (EULA) to use more than four CPUs
on the server at any given time.
In addition, BackOffice Server 2000 includes a Standard Edition of the program, not the Enterprise Edition; therefore, BackOffice Server 2000 is not "cluster aware." If you want to use clustering with any of the component products, you must install the Enterprise Edition of the component product.
Also, the standard version of ISA Server does not allow ISA Server installation to proceed if Setup detects more than four CPUs on the server.
By design, you cannot install Small Business Server 2000 on a computer that is running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. - Export Control and EULA
- Use of any software made available for download from this system constitutes your acceptance of the Export Control Terms and the terms in the Dynabook end-user license agreement both of which you can view before downloading any such software.
