
PC Friendly has conflicts with DVDExpress

- Issue
After installing PC Friendly on the Computer, a movie will not play correctly with DVDExpress.
Note: PC Friendly is bundled with various DVD titles.
COMMENTS:
Sometimes the DVD software on your computer will become corrupted due to a system freeze during playback. Installing programs such as PC Friendly, some games and applications which may modify files the DVD software/decoder needs. This can also occur with device settings for hardware components such as a video. Most DVD decoders will detect a video card during install so if you have upgraded your video card or drivers recently you should try and reinstall your DVD decoder.
Keep in mind that if your DVD software came with your system, it may be configured to only work correctly on you system as it was originally shipped, and with the original video card and drivers.- Procedure
First Uninstall and reinstall your DVD player software from the CBCD. If this alone does not work follow these next steps in order:
- Reinstall the Display Adapter.
- Reinstall the Toshiba ACPI Common Modules for Windows from your CBCD or from the Toshiba website: http:pcsupport.toshiba.com
- Reinstall the Sound driver.
- Reinstall the DVD player software from the CBCD.
- Export Control and EULA
- Use of any software made available for download from this system constitutes your acceptance of the Export Control Terms and the terms in the Dynabook end-user license agreement both of which you can view before downloading any such software.
