- Issue
- This document provides installation instructions for All Toshiba Windows 2000 OEM machines. Note: Windows 2000 Professional does not install Internet Information Services (IIS) by default.
- Resolution
- You must manually install IIS by going to the Control Panel, double-clicking the Add/Remove Programs icon, and clicking the Add/Remove Windows Components button.
- When you go to install Internet Information Server it calls for a disk to add the admxprox.dll file. This file is on the reconfiguration Builder CD for Windows 2000.You have to drop down or browse to your CD drive D: \base\i386 to find it on the CD load. After loading this you can then install the Internet Information Server in Add/ Remove programs.
- Mark the check box for the Internet Information Services (IIS) and click next to have Windows Components Wizard install the Web server resources for you.
