Information

This document can be used to complete the manual installation of Windows 2000 on a Tecra 9000.

  1. Install Windows 2000.
  2. Install Service Pack if it is not integrated with the Operating System.
    Microsoft recommends Windows 2000 Service Packs to provide patches and updates for Windows 2000 applications, utilities and functions which may have been enhanced since your version of Windows 2000 initially shipped. Installation instructions are also available during the download process.
    Logon to the Windows Update Site at Microsoft and download the latest Service Pack

  3. Logon as Administrator.
  4. Install all drivers and all utilities from the CBCD, or you can check the Toshiba PC Support Website for the latest version.
    Toshiba Drivers and Utilities can be downloaded from the Toshiba PC Support Website at:
    http://www.pcsupport.toshiba.com
    You do not have to reboot each time as prompted.

    Remember! Install all drivers and all utilities in the EXACT order as suggested:
