Change History
-
Version 2.10 Â Â Â 05-16-2006
- Modified: When a CRT is connected to Intel graphics based computers, the display will always be directed to the CRT after booting, or waking from a Standby or Hibernation state.
- Corrected: The wrong scan code will be sent by the EC when ALT+PrtSc is pressed.
- Corrected: When the computer is awakened by the LAN (WOL), or port replicator power button, the computer will re-enter a hibernation state automatically after waking from hibernation. This issue occurs when the computer is put in to the hibernation state by closing the top cover.
- When the system is in S3/S4/S5, the EC will change the "SPEAK_ID" signal status to prevent leakage current.
- Updated the ATI M24C VBIOS to fix a blue screen, and resolution error while running the Burn-In 3D Mark benchmark test.
- Corrected an issue where the CD/DVD button will start Windows instead of the Express Media Player, if the power button is pressed right after the CD/DVD button is pressed.
- Corrected an issue where audio sound can not be heard, if the CD/DVD button is used to start a computer without the Express Media Player loaded on it.
- Disabled the HDD password feature on Japanese computer models.
- Modified the Japanese string for the translation of ""F5/F6 Change Values"" and ""<--> Select Menu"" within the BIOS setup menu.
- Updated the Marvell LAN PXE ROM to V3.5.2.3 to improve PXE (LAN) boot compatibility.
- POWERPLAY was enabled in the ATI M24C VBIOS.
- A change was made to the operation of the L-Ctrl+Fn+Home key combination for the JP keyboard so the cursor would move to the beginning of the document.
- The Bluetooth power on sequence was modified to correct an issue where the host intermittently cannot detect the Bluetooth device.
- Made a change to the Japanese string of the HDD password fail dialog.
- Disabled L0s during PXE boot to correct an intermittent production line PXE server connection issue.
- Modified the Ctrl key process function of the Embedded Controller
- A change was made to eliminate a system hang during POST when the language was set to French.
- Initial Production BIOS for Tecra A5 and Satellite M50/M55.
