- Where is the reset button on my Toshiba computer?
- Procedure
On many of the new Toshiba computers there is no longer a separate Reset Button. The Reset Button on many of the newer note books is integrated into the On-Off Switch. If the computer locks up or freezes, just press on the On-Off switch for 4 seconds, until the computer shuts off.
The lack of a separate Reset Button hole prevents people from damaging the Reset Button or the system board by being over enthusiastic with a paperclip or ball point pen. The lack of the Reset Button hole also prevents some foreign material or liquids from getting into the computer.
