Procedure
The XP Welcome Screen is a new feature in Windows XP The User Experience is probably one of the major changes for Windows XP Home Edition. The Welcome Screen is a glorified login screen. It contains a list of user accounts that have been created on the system , as well as a picture representing each user. Users have the ability to customize their own accounts as well as secure each with its own password. You also have the ability to shut the computer down from this screen. Administrator accounts will not appear on XP Home Edition, or XP Professional Edition if there is another Administrative account on the machine. Administrators have the ability to change user’s names, reset or remove a user’s password, change a users picture, delete a user, or change a users account type. However, administrators cannot read another users password or change a users .NET password.
