Issue
Running the MegaRAID Manager console in a DOS OS environment without having to reboot and press Ctrl+M.
Resolution

This solution addresses the issue for the following cards: AMI MR762, MR428, MR438, MR466, & MR493.

1. From another workstation, download and/or extract the AMI MegaRAID driver set (3 diskettes) from the SST CD or from Toshiba's support website.
2. From the Magnia Server, insert disk 3 into the floppy disk drive.
3. At the DOS command prompt, type "cd a:\dos" to change into the DOS directory on the floppy disk.
4. At the a:\dos prompt, type "megaconf.exe" to launch the MegaRAID Manager.

To launch the MegaRAID Manager from the Hdd,
1. At the root, create a directory for the MegaRAID Manager files (ie. c:\ type "md RAID").
2. Copy the contents of a:\dos to the previously created directory by typing "copy a:\dos\*.* c:\RAID" and press "Enter".
3. At the c:\RAID prompt, type "megaconf.exe" to launch the MegaRAID Manager.

Procedure
For more information on the MegaRAID Manager and configuring the MegaRAID controller, refer to the User's Guide specific to your controller.
