Information

The Toshiba TDP-T250 and TDP-TW300 projectors can be accessed though a local area network (LAN) connection, once the projector's IP address has been 'registered' with the computer. Both models can be accessed through a familiar wired Ethernet LAN connection. The model TDP-TW300 can also be accessed through a Wi-Fi (wireless Ethernet) LAN connection.

Follow the instructions in either section A1 or section A2 to determine a projector's IP address, and then follow the instructions in section B to register that address with a computer, using the Toshiba Projector Management Utility.

A1   Determining a projector's IP addresss through a wired Ethernet connection

A2  Determining a projector's IP addresss through a Wi-Fi wireless Ethernet connection

B    Registering the projector's IP address with a computer

This method is suitable for models TDP-T250 and TDP-TW300 .

  1. Connect the projector to an Ethernet LAN with a Category 5 (or higher) Ethernet cable.

  3. Wait for the Toshiba logo to disappear, and then press the projector's Menu button.

  4. Press the projector's right arrow key (Vol+) four times. The Status Display screen will appear.

  5. The projector's IP address should be displayed under the heading "Wired LAN". Make a note of this IP address. Continue to section B of this bulletin.

[Before removing a PC Card from the projector -- while the projector is on or in the standby state -- be sure to press the Unmount button near the PC Card slot. Make sure that the Card light goes out before removing the PC Card.]

  2. If the projector is off, turn it ON.

  3. Verify that the projector is in Wi-Fi Infrastructure mode. Please see the projector's Owner's Manual for instructions.

  2. Click the Edit tab, click the Register Projector button, and click the Specify IP Address tab.

  3. Enter the projector's IP address, and click the Confirm button.

  4. Enter the password for the projector, if a prompt appears (from PJ Link Authentication).
