Issue
Windows98 Second Edition will display a Blue Screen Exception error when attempting a Plug and Play installation of the OC-3221 Token Ring Adapter.
Procedure

The problem described is a known issue with Olicom and is caused by a
corrupt driver that ships with Win98 SE (Not Win98 Original version.)
The solution is to uninstall the adapter and reinstall it with the
latest NDIS3 Driver which is available for download at
http://www.olicom.com. (click on Service & Support, Software Download,
Classical Token-Ring)

Driver installation procedure:
1. Open 4079.zip and extract 4079.exe to a blank floppy disk.
2. Double Click 4079.exe to expand its contents to the floppy and
label the floppy "Olicom Driver disk."
3. Delete that adapter from device manager.
4. Find and delete the following files IF present: (Hint: Make sure
     "Show All Files" is checked)

     MFOCT35N.INF
     MFOCT35W.INF
     NETOCT35.INF
     OCT3XND5.SYS
     NETOLI.INF
     OCMDM144.INF
     OCMDM336.INF
     OCTKMF.INF
     OCTKNET.INF
     OCTK16.SYS

5. Restart the computer.
6. When the adapter is detected, provide the Olicom Driver disk.
Note: If the adapter is not autodetected install it manually in
Network Applet using the Have Disk Option.
