COMMENTS:
Both the supervisor and user passwords are case sensitive. By default,
enabling a supervisor password on the Toshiba V3100 desktop will allow
the system to boot, but the user will be unable to change the CMOS
settings without entering the correct password. If it is desired to
prevent the system from booting unless the correct password is entered,
change the Password Check option under Advanced CMOS setup from Setup
to Always (use the Page Up/Page Down keys to modify), press the Esc
key once to get back to the main setup screen, press the F10 key, and
then press the Enter key to Save Settings and Exit.

- If a supervisor password is enabled, and the correct password is
entered, the user will have full access to CMOS.
- If a user password is enabled, and the correct password is entered,
the user will have limited access to CMOS.
- User password will only allow the user to change the user password,
exit without saving, or save settings and exit.
