Toshiba Windows Utilities MUST be installed prior to installation
of DVD software.

When Windows 95 or 98 is installed, the Toshiba DVD Decoder is
detected under "Other Devices" as a "PCI Multimedia Device" because
Windows does not include the driver.

To install the driver and player, please use the following
instructions:

DVD Software Installation for Windows 95:
     1. Open Control Panel/System Icon/Device Manager tab. Click on
          "Other Devices".
     2. Double click on "PCI Multimedia Device."
     3. From the Driver tab, click on "Update Driver."
     4. Select "Yes[Recommended]" and click on "Next" to search for
          the driver.
     5. Click on "Other Locations."  Type in the path "X:\Manual\
          DVDSOFT" (where X: is your CD-ROM drive,) then click "OK."
     6. Click on "Finish" after Windows finds the device: "Toshiba
          DVD Decoder Board."
     7. When prompted for disk 1/2, type in the path  "X:\Manual\
          DVDSOFT" (where X: is your CD-ROM drive) then click "OK."
          Restart your computer.
     8. To install the DVD Player, run "Setup.exe" from the download
          folder "X:\Manual\DVDSOFT" (where X: is your CD-ROM drive.)
          Restart your computer after finishing setup.
          
 DVD Software Installation for Windows 98:
     1. Open Control Panel/System icon/Device Manager tab. Click on
          "Other Devices."
     2. Double click on "PCI Multimedia Device."
     3. From the Driver tab, click on "Update Driver."
     4. Click "Next."
     5. Select "Search for a better driver than the one your device
          is using now..."  and click on "Next."
     6. Select "Specify a location."  Type in the path "X:\Manual\
          DVDSOFT" (where X: is your CD-ROM drive) and then click
          "OK."
     7. Click "Next" to accept the location of driver.
     8. Click "Finish."
     9. Back at the "Toshiba DVD Decoder Board..." screen, click on
          "Close".
     10.Back at the "Device Manager" tab, click "OK" and then Restart
          your computer.
     11.To install the DVD Player, run "SETUP.EXE" from the download
          folder "X:\Manual\DVDSOFT" (where X: is your CD-ROM drive.)
          Restart your computer after finishing setup.
