Issue
This is the Toshiba Windows 2000 Test Report for the TECRA 530CDT.
Procedure
APPLICABLE PARTS NUMBERS:
   Tecra 530CDT: PA1247U-T2A 

INSTALLATION ISSUES:
	Issue:
	NONE

FUNCTIONAL ISSUES: 
	Issue: 
	USB is not functional after installation of Windows 2000.
	REASON: The incorrect driver was installed for the USB
	Controller during setup.  The driver which loaded is Named
	"Unsupported NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller" the correct
	driver should be "NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller". 

	Resolution/Work Around: 
 	Replace the "Unsupported NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller"
 	with the "NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller". 
	1.      In the Device Manager(Administrative Tools\Computer
	          Management\System Tools\Device Manager), expand the
	          Universal Serial Bus Controllers. 
	2.      Right click on the "Unsupported NEC PCI to USB Open
	          Host Controller". 
	3.      Open the properties sheet and click the driver tab.
	4.      Click "Update driver", then "next". 
	5.      Select "Display a list of drivers for the device." then
	          click "next". 
	6.      Select the device driver named "NEC PCI to USB Open
	          Host Controller". 
	7.      Click "next", then "next" again. Then "finish".
	
	Corrective Action:
	Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working to have it
	corrected.

	Installation over a Clean Hard Drive:
	None

	Toshiba recommends uninstalling these applications prior
	to installing Windows 2000
