
CTL3D32.DLL errors at startup

- CTL3D32.DLL is designed for Windows NT systems
1. Go to Start\Programs\MS-DOS prompt
2. At the C:\Windows> prompt type: "CD SYSTEM" and hit Enter.
3. At the C:\Windows\System> prompt, type: "REN CTL3D32.DLL CTl3D32.OLD" and hit Enter.
4. Type: "CD \" and hit Enter.
5. At the C:\> prompt, type: "MD AATEMP" and hit Enter.
6. Place the Windows 95 CD-ROM into the drive (Windows95 companion CD will work). If the application auto-launches, shut it down.
7. At the C:\> prompt, type: "CD AATEMP" and hit Enter.
8. At the C:\AATEMP> prompt, type:
"copy X:\admin\nettools\bsetup\ctl3d32.dl_ C:\AATEMP" and hit Enter. (Where "X" is the letter of the CD-ROM drive. For example D: or E:)
9. Then type:
"copy X:\drivers\ingame\sidewndr\expand.exe C:\AATEMP" and hit Enter. (Where "X" is the letter of the CD-ROM drive. For example D: or E:)
10. Then type: "expand ctl3d32.dl_ C:\Windows\System\ctl3d32.dll" and hit Enter.
11. Then type: "exit" and hit Enter. This will place you back in Windows.
12. Shutdown and restart the machine normally.
Type only the text in "quotes" without the quotes themselves. Type everything exactly as you see it including spaces.
