Information
1. Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel, in control panel double click on Add/Remove Programs, single click on Windows setup folder, if Windows 95 is OSR1 remove the check for Microsoft Exchange, a message will appear to uninstall Microsoft network and Microsoft fax click ok. If Windows 95 is OSR2, remove the check for Windows Messaging, a message will appear to uninstall Microsoft network and Microsoft fax click ok. Reboot Windows95 (Start/Shutdown/Restart Computer).

2. Once Windows 95 reboots, open Control Panel, double click on Add/Remove Programs, click on Windows setup folder, if Windows is OSR1 insert check marks in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Fax and Microsoft Network. If Windows are OSR2 insert checks in Windows Messaging, Microsoft Fax and Microsoft Network. Click ok. Close Add/Remove Programs.

3. Once Add/Remove Programs is closed, the Inbox Setup Wizard will be displayed, to reconfigure Microsoft Fax, remove all check marks except for Microsoft Fax, click next, in select fax/modem highlight the modem used for faxing, click next, on incoming call screen click on no so Microsoft fax will not answer every incoming call, click next, enter your name and fax number you are calling. Click next, if Windows is OSR1, click on do not add Microsoft Exchange to startup group, if Windows is OSR2, click on do not add Windows Messaging to startup, click next, click on finish to install MS Fax. If the same problem occurs using MS Fax follow next steps.

4. Using the secondary mouse button click on the start button, click on Explorer to open Windows Explorer, if Windows is OSR1 double click on program files, double click on Microsoft Exchange, verify that mlset32.exe is present, close, if Windows are OSR2 double click on program files, double click on Windows Messaging, verify that mlset32.exe is present, close Windows Explorer.

5. Open Control Panel double click on Mail and Fax, click on show profiles, click remove to remove user profiles, click close to exit Mail and Fax.

6. Click on Start/Run, click on Browse button, in look in field change from desktop to the local hard drive (c:), double click on program files, double click on Microsoft Exchange, double click on mlset32.exe, in the open box the path for mlset32.exe will be displayed, click ok, the Inbox Wizard will display, click no for have you ever used Microsoft Exchange before, click next, remove all check marks except for Microsoft Fax, click next, in select fax/modem box highlight the modem used for faxing, click next, on incoming call screen click on no so Microsoft fax will not answer every incoming call, click next, enter your name and fax number you are calling. Click next, click on do not add Inbox to startup group, click next, click on finish to install MS Fax. This procedure will reconfigure a new installation for Microsoft Fax and Inbox.

7. Open Control Panel, double click on Mail icon, click show profiles, click remove to remove user profiles, click close to exit mail.

8. Click on Start/Run, click on Browse button, in look in field change from desktop to the local hard drive (c:), double click on Program files, double click on Windows Messaging, double click on mlset32.exe, in the open box the path for mlset32.exe will be displayed, click ok, the Inbox wizard will display, click no for have you ever used Windows Messaging before, click next, remove all check marks except for
