Note: The Toshiba Backup CD does not contain the files required to install or restore the operating system itself (either Windows 95 or Windows for Workgroups). If you need to re-install the operating system, you must first create the installation diskettes, by invoking the backup diskette utility for the applicable operating system.

Windows for Workgroups Procedure

If you are running Windows for Workgroups, the following utilities and drives are available on the Backup CD:

Creative Vibra 16 audio driver (MS-DOS install)
ATI Vedio high resolution screen display drive (MS-DOS install)
Intel Ethernet controller driver (MS-DOS install)
Mediamatics Mpeg Arcade moive player
Micro House Fast Disk driver for 32-bit file access
Logitech Mouseware mouse drive
Microsoft Windows Quick Start User's guide
Toshiba User's Library on-line user's guide
Microsoft Video For Windows Runtime
Puma Tranxit data transfer program
Indeo Video Interactive video codec

Installing the Creative Vibra, ATI Video and Intel Drivers

The first three programs listed above require you to exit from Windows for Workgroups in order to install. They cannot install from either Windows, or an MS-DOS box within Windows.

Therefore (assuming your CD ROM drive is E:), do the following to install one of those three drivers:

To install: Exit fromWindows, and run the following MS-DOS commands:
Creative audio drive e:
cd \wfw\audio\disk1
install

ATI Video driver e:
cd \wfw\display
install

Intel Ethernet driver e:
cd \wfw\intelpro
setup
