Your Toshiba notebook comes with Universal Serial Bus (USB) hardware support built in. This hardware supports several types
of peripherals at the same time.

The USB creates a common port on your notebook which allows you the capability of easy connection and removal of all your devices
using Plug and Play, even when your PC is on. USB supports a broad range of devices including digital cameras, keyboards and
others. USB's ability to connect up to 63 peripherals in daisy chain replaces the clutter of cables currently connected to
your notebook. A speed of up to 12 megabits per second allows for high speed devices that used to require additional specialized
interfaces.

The current version of Microsoft Windows 95 does not include USB drivers. As USB peripherals are introduced, appropriate
drivers will ship with each device. This information will be available on Toshiba's Web site and Bulletin Board Service.

Note: Because the current laptops are shipped without drivers for the USB, it is normal in Device Manger, Other devices, for the "PCI Universal Serial Bus" to have the yellow exclamation mark (!).
