Information
T1950s using Toshiba Card Manager (TCM) version 1.0 and PCMCIA cards, with the Resume feature enabled, may have intermittent power-on problems.

Solution: Upgrade the System BIOS to version 2.00.
The T1950 and T1950CS use the same BIOS, and the T1950CT USES A DIFFERENT ONE.
Both BIOS are on the BBS under the following filenames:
T195TB20.ZIP T1950CT ONLY
T195B200.ZIP T1950 (mono) and T1950CS

* Based on limited testing, the following symptoms on a T1950CT with BIOS version 1.20, were corrected with the BIOS upgrade also:
1. A T144NW modem intermittently not working after the system is powered on in resume mode.
2. There are no "Virtual card extraction" beeps heard when powered off in resume mode. (i.e. the two quick beeps heard during normal power off beeps, when resume is enabled.) This is usually a signal that the modem will not work until system power is recycled.
3. There is no "Virtual card insertion" beep heard when powered on in resume mode. This is also a signal that the modem might not work until power is recycled.
4. There are no "Virtual card extraction" beeps when powered off. The Virtual card extraction and insertion beeps are heard when powered on, and everything works fine.
