Q. I have no On Screen volume display, how do I enable it?
A. Go to Find files or folders, enter msiosd.ini and click find now. Double click msiosd icon and add the line RESERVED=1 to the end of the paragraph.
FAX:
1.) Click on Start.
2.) Click on Find.
3.) Click on Files or Folders.
4.) In the Named field, enter msiosd.ini and click on Find now.
5.) Msiosd in the C:\Windows folder should be found.
6.) Double click on the msiosd icon.
7.) Notepad will open a window displaying the contents of msiosd.
8.) After the line Color=2 add the line RESERVED=1.
9.) Click on File.
10.) Click on Save.
11.) Click on File.
12.) Click on Exit.
13.) Restart the computer
