Information
Installing Video Capture

1. If the Video Capture Application disk is not all ready made, one needs to be made.
a. Go into Master Disk Creator and locate Video Capture Application
(VIDCAP32) (1 disk) and highlight it.
b. Insert a blank 3.5" floppy and formatted.
c. Click on Make Disk.
d. Click on Create Disk.
e. Label Disk Video Capture Application.

2. In Windows Explorer verify that the directory (WINVIDEO) for Video Capture is on the C: drive.

3. Verify that the following drivers are present:
VIDCAP.GID
VIDCAP.HLP
VIDCAP32.EXE

4. If neither the directory nor the drivers are present their is two ways to install the directory and drives.
A. Installing in MS DOS:
1. Re-start system in MS DOS mode.
2. Type CD\
3. Type MD WINVIDEO
4. Insert the disk labeled Video Capture Application in the
floppy disk drive.
5. Type copy a: *.* (two files should have been
copied).
6. Type exit (to return back to Windows).

B. Installing in Windows Explorer:
1. Start > Program > Windows Explorer Highlight C:
File > New > Folder and type WINVIDEO (For the new
folder)

2. Insert Disk labeled Video Capture Application in the
floppy disk drive.
3. Click on 3.5 floppy.
4. Holding down the Ctrl key and highlighting all the files.
5. Drag and drop in the WINVIDEO directory.


Video Capture is ready to be used.
