Information
Reasons why CD-ROM bootdisk will not load:
  1. They are using the incorrect boot disk
  2. They created a system disk over their MICROSOFT CD-ROM SETUP BOOTDISK (This may happen during setup when the user is prompted to create the Startup Diskette, overwriting the diskette that we provided).

Files that should be on the Mircosoft CD-ROM setup bootdisk:

NOTE: If you do not find all these files, 36 in total, then search for the Mscdex and the D011v109.sys files. These are the files needed for the system to access the CD-Rom Drive. Without these files, the Cd-Rom will not be accessible. Making it impossible to reinstall Windows95.

Other places to search:
  1. TOSHIBA COMPANION DISKETTE from the MDC. (Obviously). Contains both files needed to access CD-Rom.
  2. Infinia CD-Rom driver from the MDC (DOS) contains the D011v109.sys file.
