Information
Solution:
  1. Put the GPS card in the slot. Card Wizard will detect the card and setup the necessary software (driver)
  2. Go to Control Panel / System / Modem and verify that GPS_PC_CARD is listed (if not see manual install)
  3. Go to Control Panel screen and select Add/Remove and select install and next
  4. Put disk labeled Retki version 1.6T disk 1 if 2 in the A: drive and click next and then finish
  5. The software loading process will start, click continue when prompted
  6. When prompted to install type choose Complete and continue
  7. After disk 2 is complete you will be prompted for disk 1 of Maps continue to install all 9 map disks
  8. After install is complete you will see an Icon group with 3 icons along with a "setup is complete" message click OK
  9. Reboot system
  10. From the icon group click Retki GPS Land Navigation
  11. Go to Options on the menu bar and pick GPS
  12. Set up Com port = 5
  13. Select GPS time configuration\ Local time and enter GMT= +7 for PDT, +8 for MDT, +9 for CDT, +10 for EDT. (This represents how many hours time difference from Greenwich mean time to local time)
  14. On the menu bar select GPS. From the drop down menu select enable GPS. There will be a message on the screen which says GPS enabling
  15. At this point card is installed. For operating instructions refer to manual.
