Display issues, reloading display driver under Windows 95

Information
If the display has the following issues:

· 1" border all around the screen
· color palette does not go higher than 16 colors
· blank screen, but Windows 95 seems to be loaded
· color is "washed off"

Follow this procedure to reload the video driver:

1. Run Master disk creator to make the disk for "Toshiba Windows 95 display (video) driver".
Note*** If your computer does not have Master DIsk Creator you will need to obtain the diriver from
either the Back-up Utility CD, the BBS, or the Toshiba Web Site.
2. Right-click on desktop and left-click on PROPERTIES.

3. Click on SETTINGS and CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE.
4. Click on CHANGE for ADAPTER TYPE and click on HAVE DISK.
5. Make sure the location reads "A:\" and click on OK.
6. Click on OK again to get back to "Change Display Type" screen.
7. Click on CHANGE for MONITOR TYPE.
8. Select "Standard Monitor Types" for manufacturer and "Plug and Play Monitor (VESA DDC)" for
model.

9. Click on CLOSE.
10. Don't forget to readjust the "Desktop Area" to the appropriate size after the driver has been reloaded.
11. If this does not work, you could have a corrupted MDC. You may need to download the
appropriate file from our BBS.
