Installing Sound Drivers

To set up the sound drivers in NT one must first must download the appropriate drivers from the BBS or WEB Site.
This file can be downloaded to a floppy or a file on the hard drive.

**** For this procedure, the file CS-NT4.EXE will be used.

1. Once the file is downloaded to a floppy or a file on the computer open that file and double click on
CS-NT4.EXE to inflate the file. When the file inflates it automatically loads to the path C:\audio

2. Open the Control Panel / Multimedia / Devices. In the Devices screen highlight Audio Devices and
click Add. This will open the Add window. If there is a plus in front of Audio Devices click the plus,
highlight the driver, click remove, and restart the computer.

3. Highlight Unlisted or Updated Driver and Click OK.

4. This will bring up the Install Driver screen. Type C:\Audio in the window and Click OK.

5. This will bring up the Add Unlisted or Updated Driver window with the
CrystalWare Audio Driver highlighted. Click OK. You may get a message "The required
cs32ba11.dll driver is already on the system. Do you want to us the current driver or install a new
driver?" Click New.

6. The driver will load and the screen returns to Multimedia Properties.

7. Click the plus in front of Audio Devices "Audio for CrystalWare Audio Driver" will be listed.

8. Restart the computer. You can go to Control Panel / Sounds to test the sound.

In the Control Panel / Devices the sound driver is listed as Cs32ba11.
