P code error msg in status bar

- The meaning of "P Code" error message in status bar of the T4700, T4800, T4850, and T4900 Toshiba Portables

- Procedure
- The P## error messages are as follows:
ADAPTOR (AC ADAPTOR - DESK STATION)
P01 AC adaptor voltage is over the maximum allowable limit.
P02 Desk Station voltage is over the maximum allowable limit.
BATTERY
P10 Charge current is over the maximum allowable limit.
VCC OUTPUT
P20 VCC Voltage is over the maximum allowable limit.
P21 VCC voltage is below the minimum allowable limit.
P22 VCC voltage is output at a low level (does not fall to zero) while the power is off.
B3V OUTPUT
P30 B3V voltage is over the maximum allowable limit.
P31 B3V voltage is below the minimum allowable limit.
P32 B3V voltage is not within the normal range while the
system is on.
P33 B3V voltage is not within the normal range while the system
is in the resume mode or Hard-RAM is enabled.
OUTPUT VOLTAGE (12V * M12V)
P40 12V voltage is over the maximum allowable limit.
P41 12V voltage is below the minimum allowable limit.
P42 M12V Voltage is not within the normal range.
POWER SUPPLY MICROPROCESSOR
P50 Firmware error.
P52 Program error.
POWER SUPPLY ON/OFF SEQUENCE
P60 VCC and B3V error.
ENVIRONMENT
P80 Temperature is over 70C or under -20C.
What to do...
P01 Check AC adaptor and AC cord are firmly connected. Try another AC adaptor. See P10.
P02 Verify the DSIV is firmly connected to the computer's expansion bus port. Try other DSIV. See P10.
P10 Try without battery.Make sure the battery pack is correctly installed in the computer. Try another battery pack. See
Toshiba Authorized Service Provider.
P80 Move the computer to an area where the temperature is between 70C and -20C. See Toshiba Authorized Service Provider.
