- Information
- The Maxtor PCMCIA hard drive has a resume problem if PCM+ is not installed correctly. Power.exe must be in the config.sys file and apm.sys if there is not already support for it as in the T1950 and T3400 computers. The install for PCM+ does not add "device=c:\dos\power.exe" to CONFIG.SYS. Therefore, if it does not exist, it will not be added automatically.
e.g. The T1950CT had to have power.exe added
The T3400CT already had power.exe.
Add device=c:\dos\power.exe to the config.sys and
device=c:\dos\apm.sys if needed. The apm.sys driver is not preinstalled on the
computer's hard drive. It is found on the companion diskette.- This information also applies to modems.
There is no resume support without these two drivers. - Export Control and EULA
