- Issue
- Use of Microsoft's 2.0 Infrared drivers causes TranXit 3.0 to become unusable. When current computers with a Plug n Play BIOS also incorporate an integrated infrared port, the default setting in the Windows 95 MSPORTS.INF file for the IR port is "No Driver" for "Generic IrDA Compatible Devices".
- Resolution
- On some computers this may make the IR port not accessible by TranXit Pro. In this case, a TranXit Pro user would see the COM port to be used for IR connections either missing or "grayed out" in the "Infrared Settings" under Connection Setup. This is the indication that TranXit Pro cannot access the desired IR port.
