Issue
After reinstalling Windows 95 on a 750CDT, Hard Disk Controllers appear as "Standard IDE/ESDI controller" instead of "Toshiba Bus Master IDE controller".
Procedure
Install the Toshiba Bus Master IDE controller driver. This driver includes two files (IDE.INF and IDE.PDR) and can be found on the Toshiba 750CDT Application CD under BUSCTRL directory).
  1. Boot into Windows 95
  2. Copy IDE.INF file into C:\windows\inf directory and copy IDE.PDR file into C:\Windows\System\Iosubsys directory
  3. Rename C:\Windows\INF\MSHDC.INF to MDHDC.OLD
  4. Go to Control Panel/System/Device Manager and delete the two "Standard IDE/ESDI hard disk controllers."
