No DMIAPI32.DLL present when "LANDesk" Client Mgr. starts

Issue
The following procedures will reinstall "LANDesk" Client Manager Program on running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
Procedure

THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE IS FOR WINDOWS 95

  1. On the main desktop of Windows 95, double click Install "LANDesk" icon.
  2. Click next on the welcome screen for installation of "LANDesk Client Management".
  3. Single click the model of the "Equium" that "LANDesk Client Management" is being installed on and click next.
  4. Accept all defaults for the directory that "LANDesk Client Management" will install to and click "next" to start the installation.
  5. Accept the default for the Program Folder where "LANDesk Client Management" will reside and click next.
  6. Click "Finish" to complete installation. Restart Windows 95.
  7. Once Windows 95 restarts click Start/Shutdown/Restart the Computer in MS-DOS mode; click "yes" to restart.
  8. At the "C:\ prompt" type in "COPY C:\DMI\WIN32\BIN DMIAPI32.DLL C:\ WINDOWS/SYSTEM" and press the "Enter" key.
  9. A message "1 file copied" will display. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to reboot the computer.
  10. Once Windows 95 restarts, click Start/Settings/Control Panel. Double click "Add/Remove Programs".
  11. Click the "Windows Setup" folder, double click "Accessories." Make sure there is no check mark in "Desktop Management."
  12. If there is a check mark on "Desktop Management," single click "Desktop Management" to remove the check mark.
  13. Click "OK" two times to close "Add/Remove Programs." "LANDesk Client Management" will now be setup successfully.

THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE IS FOR WINDOWS NT 4.0

  1. Click Start/Programs/Windows NT Explorer. In "Windows NT Explorer" double click the "DMI" directory.
  2. Double click the "WIN32" directory. Double click "BIN" directory and locate the file "DMIAPI32.DLL".
  3. Single click the file "DMIAPI32.DLL" and drag the file to the "WINNT/SYSTEM32" directory to copy the file. Close "Windows NT Explorer".
  4. Click Start/Settings/Control Panel. Double click "Add/Remove Programs".
  5. In the white box in "Install/Uninstall" folder single click "LANDesk Client Manager" and click the "Add/Remove" button and "yes" to uninstall "LANDesk Client Manager" software. Click "yes" to restart Windows NT 4.0.
  6. Once Windows NT 4.0 restarts insert the CD for "Toshiba Backup CDROM" into the CD player.
  7. Double click "My Computer". Double click the "CDROM drive", this will display all directories for the "Toshiba Backup CD".
  8. Double click the "LANDesk" folder. Double click "Setup.exe" to start the installation for the LANDesk Client Manager software.
  9. Click "next" on the welcome screen for installation of "LANDesk Client Management".
  10. Single click the model of the "Equium" that "LANDesk Client Management" is being installed on and click "next".
  11. Accept all defaults for the directory that "LANDesk Client Management" will install to and click "next" to start the installation.
  12. Accept the default for the Program Folder where "LANDesk Client Management" will reside and click "next".
