
BT848: Failure Loading VxD Driver or USB Port Not Found

- Installing the Intel Video Phone Upgrade generates the following error message during the installation process: "BT848: Failure loading VxD driver or / USB port not found"
- Procedure
- To resolve this perform the following steps:
- Restart the computer. When you see the message "Starting Windows 95", press the F8 key, and choose Safe Mode option from the Startup menu.
- Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel.
- Double click on the "System" icon to open the System Properties window.
- Click on the "Device Manager" folder.
- Click the [+] plus sign next to "Sound, video and game controllers".
- Click on "Raffles TV/Radio drivers with Intercast (Solution for S3 Virge and ATI RageII+)" to highlight and click on the Remove button. Click "OK" to confirm device removal.
- Restart the system. The Intel Video Phone Upgrade should install properly.
