- Issue
- Unable to fax documents from Ring Central after the installation of Office 97.
- Procedure
- The following procedure will setup Ring Central to attach documents to a fax.
NOTE: The "Toshiba Backup/Recovery" CD must be inserted into the CD-ROM drive to follow this procedure.
- Boot the computer into Windows 95/98.
- Click "Start", select "Settings" and then select "Control Panel."
- Double click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
- In the list of programs single click "Ring Central", click the "Add/Remove" button.
- Click "Yes" to begin un-installing "Ring Central."
- Click "OK" when un-install has completed.
- In the list of programs single click "Office 97", click the "Add/Remove" button to un-install Office 97.
- Once Office 97 has been un-installed restart Windows 95/98.
- Once Windows 95/98 restarts reinstall Office 97.
- Once Office 97 has been installed restart Windows 95/98.
- Once Windows 95/98 restarts, double click the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. Double click the CD-ROM drive icon to start the "Toshiba Application CD Setup" program.
- In the list of programs single click "Ring Central", click the "Install" button.
- Click "Next" at the welcome screen.
- Click "Yes" at the "Software License Agreement" screen.
- Accept all defaults for "Destination Directory" and click "Next."
- Accept all defaults for "Program Folders" and click "Next."
- At the "Default Printer" screen, click "Next" 2 times to begin the installation.
- Once the installation is complete click "Yes" to restart Windows 95/98.
- Once Windows 95/98 restarts "Ring Central" will be configured.
