- The Toshiba Upgrade Assistant simplifies the process of upgrading and installing drivers and utilities after you have upgraded to Windows 8.
The Upgrade Assistant can also be used on computers manufactured after June 1st, 2012 to prepare those computers for upgrade to Windows 8 by automatically removing certain drivers and utilities not compatible with Windows 8.
