Information

Enabling Fast Boot will speed up the boot time by making the following changes to the boot process:
- The computer will only boot from the built-in hard drive.
- There is no support for an external LCD or keyboard.
- The boot logo is not displayed
Note: There are no restrictions when using Windows.

Procedure:
The Boot Speed settings can be changed in Windows using TOSHIBA HWSetup, or entering the InsydeH20 BIOS Setup Utility during power-on.

Using TOSHIBA HWSetup:
1. Click on the Windows Start Menu, type HWSETUP, press Enter.
2. Select the Boot Priority Tab.
3. Under Boot Speed, select Fast, click Apply and Restart Now to apply the change.

Entering InsydeH20 BIOS Setup Utility during power-on:
1. Power on the computer and immediately press the F12 key to enter the setup utility.
2. Use the arrow key to select Advanced.
3. Use the arrow key to select Boot Speed, press Enter.
4. Use the arrow key to select Fast, press Enter.
5. Press F10 to Save and Exit. Answer Yes to exit and restart the computer.
