Note: This information applies to the Toshiba All-in-One Desktop Computer with integrated TV Tuner/IR Blaster.
You can use the Media Center Remote to control a Cable or Satellite Set-top Box eliminating the need to use a separate remote.

Media Center Remote

PROCEDURE:

1. Connect the cable from the cable source (wall jack) to the cable input jack on the cable box or satellite receiver.

2. Connect a cable from the cable output jack on the cable box or satellite receiver to the TV Tuner located on the back of the All-in-One.

3. Connect the jack plug end of the IR Blaster Cable to the IR Remote Control Receiver located on the back of the All-in-One.

4. Place the end of the IR Blaster Cable directly in front of the IR port on the cable box.

Note: If you're having trouble placing the IR blaster on the Set-top box correctly, try using a flashlight to locate the signal receiver on the Set-top box.

5. Launch Windows Media Center and on the Start Screen, scroll to Tasks, click Settings, click TV, and then click Set Up TV Signal.

6. Follow the steps to connect a TV signal.

Once you have correctly configured Windows Media Center, you can use the Windows Media Center Remote Control to change the channels on your Cable or Satellite Set-top Box.
