Troubleshooting:

The monitor does not turn on:

  • Check the connections. Make sure the USB cable is firmly connected to the monitor. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, and then press the Power button again.
  • Check the condition of the USB cable. If the cable is frayed or damaged, replace the cable. If the connectors are soiled, wipe them with a clean cloth.

The screen is blank, although the power is on:

  • Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to the computer.
  • Make sure the computer is on and working. The computer may be in sleep or power-saving mode, or displaying a blank screen saver. Move the mouse to "wake up" the computer.

The picture "bounces" or moves in a wave-like pattern:

  • Move electrical devices that may cause electrical interference away from the monitor.

 

FAQ:

Q: How do I adjust the display brightness?

Press the Brightness Up/Down buttons to adjust the brightness level of the monitor display. Brightness levels may also vary depending on the power source used.

Q: Does the monitor come with an AC Adapter?

No, an AC adapter is not needed. For maximum brightness, an optional AC adapter can be purchased at ToshibaDirect.com.

Q: Should I connect both ends of the USB Y connector to my computer?

Some computers may not provide enough power to the LCD monitor from one USB port. If so, connect the other USB connector on the Y end of the cable into another USB port on your computer.
