Information

This document only applies to Toshiba PC models supporting Nvidia Optimus Technology.
nVidia Display Driver version 8.17.12.6132 or above is required

To check your current driver version of nVidia Display Driver:
1. Click on the Windows Start Menu and type Device Manager, press Enter.
2. Open the Display Adapters category.
3. Right click on nVidia GeForce 310M and select Properties.
4. Click on the Driver tab to view the driver version.

If the nVidia Display Driver is not version 8.17.12.6132 or above, Toshiba Service Station can be used to download and install the updated nVidia Display Driver.
Updated device drivers can also be downloaded at Support.Toshiba.com.

To use Toshiba Service Station to check for an updated driver:
1. Click on the Windows Start Menu and type Device Manager, press Enter.
2. Select Software Updates, and click on Check for Updates.

To display the nVidia GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area:
1. Click on the Windows Start Menu and type NVIDIA Control Panel, press Enter.
2. Click on View.
4. Place a checkmark next to Display GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area.

To view the nVidia GPU usage:
1. Click on Show hidden icons on the Taskbar.
2. Click on the nVidia GPU Activity icon to view applications currently using the nVidia GPU.
