The instructions below will help you when trying to connect a Cable/Satellite receiver to your DVD recorder and connecting your DVD recorder to your TV.

Connecting your Cable/Satellite receiver to your DVD recorder:

Your DVD recorder has 3 types of inputs for connecting a Cable/Satellite receiver.
(NOTE: HDMI and Component are only outputs they cannot be used for inputs.)

  1. S-Video Input
  2. Composite Video Input
  3. Antenna IN (This input is not available on all models and not normally used when using a Cable/Satellite receiver because Cable/Satellite receivers have their own tuner. See the online user guide for your product for proper use of this input)

Connecting your DVD Recorder to your Television

Your DVD recorder has 4 types of outputs when connecting to a TV. (Listed in order of Highest Quality (1) to Standard Quality (4))

  1. HDMI
  2. Component Video
  3. S-Video
